BIOGRAPHY
"maybe you should try getting him into some type of club." yugyeom was in the fifth grade when the principal of his school and his parents had come to their wits end. it wasn't that he was a bad kid or anything, but rather he had too much energy, and too much energy meant he was often up to no good. today he had gotten into a "harmless" fight with one of his friends, that turned into a real fight, and resulted in a broken nose for his "friend". needless to say, they were no longer friends, and yugyeom was facing a three day suspension. the idea of a club was suggested so that he could burn off his energy, or to give him something to focus on so that he wouldn't always be disrupting class or fighting with his friends.
as it turned out though, he was terrible at sports. too aggressive for soccer and baseball, not aggressive enough for basketball. on the bright side, it did wear him down so that he wouldn't constantly be causing a disruption in class, but he was using too much energy for that and didn't actually have the energy to focus in class, instead falling asleep. so sports wasn't really that great of a solution for them. it was when his parents were about to give up that one of their friends suggested dance. it was a last ditch effort, but it was worth a shot.
at first, it didn't work out for him. his limbs were too long and he looked just a bit funny following through the choreography, but something about it he liked. no, something he loved. he loved the music, he loved the atmosphere, he loved everything about it. it gave his parents some leverage as well, were he to act out or get into a fight, then they would hold back his dance classes. he didn't turn into a model student, but it as good as it could get for him.
in highshcool, yugyeom hit his current "bad boy" streak, his second year of high school, picking up skateboarding, and his little grafitti habit. with an astounding C average, and more of an interest in playing around and dancing, than anything else, his parents were worried if he would actually make it into university. so their son's comment that he would get into yonsei university, made them more than worried. the worry only increased when he said he would major in dance.
it was some miracle that yugyeom managed to get into yonsei university, but his parents made him agree to minoring in something "safe", and while he had no natural skill for it, he figured economics was one of the easiest things he could go to. it as during his first week as a freshmen that yugyeom was introduced to alpha gamma rho, and while the boy originally had no interest in greek life, he loved the atmosphere and decided that that was where he wanted to be. after the most hellish hell week, yugyeom found himself a brother of alpha gamma rho fraternity.

01. despite his size, yugyeom is overall pretty friendly. he can be a bit rough when he forgets how big he is, but the boy is friendly and playful.
02. econ wasn't his choice, but rather a compromise with his parents, due to their worry that their son wouldn't be able to feed himself on a dancer's paycheck.
03. besides dance, he's into skateboarding, and he likes to think he's pretty good at it.
04. enjoys graffiti art and often draws up his own designs whenever he can, it's due to this that he's gotten in trouble, both on campus and off with the police, for tagging.
05. his produst moment was starting his dance group, essence of life (EOL) with some other freshmen, sure they're small but it's something that he loves and will use any moment to talk about them.
